We are a small team with a big passion for delivering the very best in antiques, vintage and retro events. Headed up by the two Directors Helen & Alan Yourston and backed up by Julie and Debra in the Newark office. Between us we have decades of experience in organising, exhibiting, buying from and promoting these events. Our aim is to provide enjoyable, excellent trading experiences up and down the country, for both exhibitors and buyers.

Starting in 2006 Back to Basics Events Ltd (B2B Events) was formed in 2006, and featured just two fairs – the Malvern Antiques & Collectors Fair and the Malvern Flea & Collectors Fair. Both were (and remain!) very well known on the fair circuit and provided an excellent base from which B2B Events grew.

Still going strong and now advertising Detling and Edinburgh as well as the Malvern Markets

Colin and Laura have been dealing in antiques since the 1990s. For many years they were regulars at the Alexandra Palace antiques fair, and then in Lewes at Church Hill Antiques. They currently have space in the Cliffe Antiques Centre in Lewes.

Specialising in small wooden antiques, from treen through to tea caddies and boxes, as well as nineteenth century ceramics, but also anything unusual and beautiful that catches their eye. “We have wanted a presence in the Petworth Antiques Market for a long time and are delighted that we no longer have to find excuses to come and visit”.

Hello, welcome to simply country Interiors, where you will find a collection of vintage and antique pieces for the home and garden.

My stock is an eclectic mix of mostly English and French rustic country furniture, kitchenalia, paintings, needlework samplers, toys, folk art, textiles and lots more. I am always searching for things that have a story to tell, pieces that bear the marks of their past which make them unique, evocative and beautiful.

My passion for antiques developed as a child in the 70s. My mother used to take me along with her on endless bargain hunting trips around junk and antique shops, searching for furniture and other items to renovate for our home. I fondly remember spending hours rubbing down old pine furniture to bring it back to life. Then when I left and moved into a flat in Tunbridge Wells in my early 20s, I went to my first Antiques auction and managed to furnish my entire flat for next to nothing. That was It, I’d really caught he recycling bug!

After many years of working in interiors for a custom-made sofa company, and then taking a break to look after my children, I rented a space in an antique centre, and that is where Simply Country Interiors was born, and 16 years on I’m still excited to be selling antiques.

Surrey Goldsmiths and Silversmiths was first established in 1968 with its inaugural store opening in St Georges Walk, Croydon, Surrey.

Fast Forward 50+ years and with a change of management and a leap forward into the world of social media we now operate our business online via Instagram, Facebook and Ebay but also established historical Market Places several days a week.

We are a small family business that specialise in Silver goods but also stock a limited amount of Gold, we sell brand new Jewlery and also preloved which include antique and vintage pieces.

With a particular personal interest in antique and vintage clocks and watches there is a high probability that these will also make an appearance from time to time also.

With a long-term affiliation with our stockists up and down the country some of which are independent and smaller with others based in Hatton Garden and Birmingham, we have built a small but steady business with a varied and consistent customer base.
